CODA Communications is a tutoring and interpreting service whose goal is to provide access: access to understanding homework and study guides in American Sign Language and Pidgin Sign English, access to a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) to assist with practicing ASL, and access to communication on tours abroad. With CODA Communications, you're working with someone who has lived an entire life within Deaf culture. You're working with someone who will make it clearer.
CODA Communications believes that Deaf people deserve equity in communication, which includes receiving services from someone who understands Deaf culture, engages in ethical practices, and respects clients’ autonomy. I do not only promote fluency in sign language but also a deeper understanding of Deaf culture in order to build a bridge between the Deaf and hearing worlds.
